Hi there! I'm Sonal [as in So-null].

The most important map I ever ignored was the one telling me to stay in my lane.

In my final year of engineering, a predictable desk job actually terrified me. I felt stuck in a bubble, constantly asking everyone, What next? That curiosity is exactly how I found design. I packed my bags, moved to a new city, and finally saw the real impact designers bring to day-to-day life.

That choice shifted everything. Design became my passport and since then it has taken me across borders, introduced me to a global community of creators, and gifted me those unexpected aha moments that keep me grounded.

I spent 4+ years alongside an incredible team at a global leader in automation, helping design workflows that run 400M+ automations annually.

Currently, I'm at CCA in San Francisco, pursuing my Master of Design in Interaction Design. I am choosing to stick with that feeling of discovery, learning and unlearning as I go.
